Background

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are hosting a Big Cat Conservation Dialogue Series to support global knowledge exchange and boost momentum for protection for all big cats. The Dialogue series is being organized in partnership with the Global tiger Forum (GTF), the Global Snow Leopard Ecosystem Protection Program (GSLEP), and the Jaguar 2030 Initiative. As iconic species, the conservation of big cats advances broader efforts to protect other species and ecosystems on which millions of communities depend for their lives and livelihoods and which underpin our societies and economies.
